Microsoft Ads covers all aspects of the online advertising and innovates rapidly to grow its share of this market by providing the advertising industry with a highly scalable platform that competes head to head with Google Advertising platform. Microsoft Advertising Campaign UI team is the development team responsible for the front end web sites used by online advertisers to create and manage their millions of ad campaigns. This team has very solid focus on customer satisfaction. We are on an ambitious journey to build new generation of Microsoft Ads UI and analytical platform. As a Software Engineering in the team, you will develop world class Web UI experience for our demand management platform as well as enable new Ads Product to advertisers. Starting January 26, 2026, Microsoft AI (MAI) employees who live within a 50- mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S., country-specific location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week. - Responsibilities• Work closely with PMs, UX designers and partner teams to design and develop features from concept to release and live operations.
- Quality and result driven in project execution.
- Build metrics and monitor impact of features.
- Be open and willing to learn new technology and to take challenges.
- Help team to forge a sound engineering culture with growth mindset.
Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to JavaScript, and TypeScriptOR equivalent experience.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Additional or preferred qualifications- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to JavaScript, and TypeScriptOR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to JavaScript, and TypeScript - OR equivalent experience.
- Solid CS fundamentals, solid inclination for architecting at scale.
- Excellent technical design, problem solving and debugging skills.
- Proficient in data driven decision making, ability to build metrics to analyze business impact.
- Hands-on experience with ReactJS and modern front-end development and testing tools.
- Ability to analyze data and build metrics that measure business impact.
- Passion for UX and creating high quality user experiences.
- Solid collaborator and effective team communicator.
- Experience using AI-powered development tools to improve code quality, speed up implementation, and streamline end-to-end engineering workflows.

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
