The Cloud Infra and Supply Execution (CISE) finance team is an exciting and fast-evolving finance team at the forefront of Microsoft’s Cloud-first strategy. The CISE finance team is responsible for supporting delivering cloud capacity at the right time, right place and right cost. We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager
• Data Center Innovation and Strategy to support financial planning and controllership for Datacenter Design and Office of CO+I CTO.

Responsibilities:

The role requires a high degree of agility and skill in navigating multiple stakeholder requirements while enabling accelerated growth aspirations for the business in a highly competitive market environment. To be successful, the individual needs to be highly collaborative, self-motivated, and curious in learning. Support monthly/quarterly processes around close, forecasting, budget, and long-range planning functions across Datacenter Finance team and orchestrate more broadly across the finance organization.

• Support capital approval processes to support our growing Cloud business.
• Partner with engineering leaders on DC design, costing, value engineering and capital investments needed.
• Be a cultural champion for inclusion, growth mindsets, and establish culture and norms that support consistent quality employee and partner experiences.

Qualifications:

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related fieldOR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
• OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experienceOR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience
• OR equivalent experience.
• Ability to collaborate and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, influencing across multiple complex organization, and creating effecting partnerships. Ability to achieve results through both individual and cross team efforts, to manage multiple projects at the same time, and to work effectively under deadline constraints.
• Proven ability to drive projects and analysis to closure in a collaborative and matrixed environment.
• Proficiency in financial planning and analysis, including: analysis, forecasting, planning, reporting, and developing financial models.
• Proficient written and verbal communications translating financial analysis and insights into meaningful and actionable business communications and recommendations.

Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
