Our goal is to simplify the analytics journey, enabling users to derive insights effortlessly, and to foster an environment where data-driven decision-making becomes second nature to all.    We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack to develop amazing end-to-end features across Power BI's web and desktop application, to make Power BI ubiquitous and enable our customers to extract the full value of their data. You will solve work on creating next generation AI agents and AI assisted user experiences using LLMs, running and maintaining a distributed system for Power BI hiding this complexity behind easy to use and intuitive experiences. You’ll help build and operate distributed services with world-class availability, performance, and scalability. You will deliver modern user interfaces that are performant, reliable, secure, responsive, and accessible.   ​​  We do not just value differences or different perspectives. Responsibilities
​​Responsibilities - Deliver world-class user experiences and cloud services at scale to customers in collaboration with architects, UX designers, and product managers.      - Design, deliver, test, monitor and support features with good quality, maintainability, and end-to-end ownership.    - Maintain customer focus, considering current and future needs when designing and implementing features.      - Collaborate effectively within the team and with partner teams across Microsoft.    - Contribute to a culture of excellence, inclusion, collaboration, and customer focus. - Embody our culture and values

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications  - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python - OR equivalent experience. - 2+ year of experience with creating responsive and accessible UI using TypeScript, Angular, RxJs, or equivalent      - 2+ years of backend development and experience designing and working with APIs and databases Other Requirements    The ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements isrequired for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:    - This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.    Additional Qualifications  - Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. - Experience with AI/ML models and developer tools​​

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $114,400 - CAD $203,900 per year.
