Within CO+I, Datacenter Construction Delivery (DCD) is responsible for delivering datacenter capacity for Microsoft’s cloud business meeting all safety, quality, sustainability, schedule, and budget requirements. The Construction Manager provides critical leadership, ownership and accountability for the team's deployment and delivery of large-scale, campus and/or regionally based delivery solutions to predictably deliver Datacenter capacity.
You will oversee project execution across multiple sites, manage vendor relationships, and drive risk mitigation strategies through metrics and dashboards. The position requires effective leadership to influence internal and external partners, maintain compliance, and ensure on-time delivery of complex global construction projects. Additionally, you’ll manage a high-performing team, fostering growth and accountability while promoting safety and operational excellence.
This role is located in** Cheyenne, WY**. Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates should relocate and reside within 50 miles.

Responsibilities:
The Construction Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and closeout of construction projects by ensuring timely coordination, documentation control, and stakeholder communication. The role assists construction managers, commissioning teams, and engineering teams by facilitating workflows, tracking deliverables, and maintaining compliance with corporate, safety, and regulatory standards.
Project Coordination & Execution:

Support construction activities from project initiation through closeout, ensuring all tasks, schedules, and action items are tracked and executed on time.

Coordinate meetings, vendor activities, engineering site visits, and internal cross-functional discussions to maintain project progress.

Assist in preparing project approval tools, requests for proposals, and scope-of-work documentation to support on-time delivery.

Participate in weekly meetings for construction projects across the Metro
Documentation & Repository Management:

Oversee project repositories (Share Point or equivalent), ensuring clear organization, retrieval, and version control of documentation across all phases.

Maintain, track and archive all required project documentation, including drawings, logs, compliance documents, engineering reports and turnover packages
Safety, Compliance and Risk Management

Actively participate in project site safety, including daily site reviews for EHS observations, and assist with coordination of EHS related documentation.

Track project constraints and risks; escalate delays or issues and initiate acceleration programs when critical path tasks are compromised.
Budget, Reporting & Controls

Assist in monitoring vendor performance and ensuring contract compliance, including coordinating documentation required for commissioning managers and contractors.

Provide accurate project progress data, KPI metrics, and schedule updates to support cost management and reporting.
Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years related experience OR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field AND 7+ years related experience OR equivalent experience.
- 7+ years experience working on data center projects.

Construction Project Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
