Overview
Leads process and production line capability to support end-to-end manufacture or fabrication of products, components, sub-assemblies, and/or final assemblies. Reviews and ensures that both internal and external component/sub-component/device specification sheets are appropriately written and reviewed, and shared with key stakeholders. Applies expertise and guides others in the use of predictive modeling techniques to inform manufacturing process design choices for a product, part, component, sub-assembly, or final assembly. Manages teams and collaborates with Product Engineering, Design, and Production validation. Drives internal and supplier teams to ensure yield and continuous improvements into mass production and/or repair processes. Provides guidance to team and identifies the most significant project risks at the outset of a project, and drives to ensure plans address those risks. Leads the team to develops qualification process and criteria to calibrate product quality. In addition, this role has people management responsibilities including driving employee growth and development, executing projects, and managing performance.

Responsibilities
- Manufacturing Enablement
Provides guidance and writes, reviews, and/or develops both internal and external component/sub-component/device specification sheets and shares them with key stakeholders. Determines which modifications for internal device specifications and data sheets are necessary and appropriate. Sets expectations and documenting complex details about materials, components, and/or functionality for new and complex devices via accepted drawing release processes. Ensures interactions between materials, components, and functions are accounted for, and potential compatibility issues are identified.
Applies expertise and guides a variety of teams/stakeholders in the use of predictive modeling techniques (e.g., tolerance analysis, Six Sigma) to inform manufacturing design choices for complex, new products/assemblies based on current and anticipated qualification or design needs. Leads and oversees the quality/scrap-cost roadmap and operation with internal staff and suppliers to reach goals. Oversees the detection framework by Neighbor Unreachable Detection (NUD), Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), or Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to detect the product. Reviews, provides feedback, and coaches others' predictive modeling work to ensure accuracy and quality. Oversees the root cause analysis and preventive/corrective actions to ensure internal and external quality control.
Leads the management of entire process and production line capability to support end-to-end manufacture or fabrication of products, components, sub-assemblies, and/or final assemblies. Provides guidance on how to define required measurement tools and processes. Ensures that current industry/competitive trends within the manufacturing process area are surveyed. Ensures that team validates standards of a variety of established, complex products. Determines which methods to utilize to add value to existing products, manufacturing processes, and metrology. Coaches others on how to influence internal partners and external suppliers or partners to comply with measurement standards and requirements.

Product/Process Qualification
Leads engineering, design, and production validation across a variety of products. Sets expectations for manufacturing, repair, product design, and/or product engineering changes, and communicates them with internal and external stakeholders. Provides guidance on engineering, design, and production validation across teams to drive consistent process execution and continuous quality. Oversees simulation of high-volume manufacturing and/or repair processes. Sets expectations and targets for the sustainable mass-production of products and for ensuring that the production process is maintained. -
Project Implementation
Drives internal and supplier teams to ensure yield and continuous improvements into mass production and prioritize manufacturing focus and/or repair processes. Leads the validation of to ensure product quality, identifies and reviews supplier and its sub-tier, review of production risks, and integration of input from the supplier(s) across teams. Oversees efforts to ensure that work is done in parallel with suppliers by leading efforts to review, approve and observe suppliers each step of the process as needed.
Leverages expertise to lead teams on how to anticipate and mitigate significant project risks (e.g., schedule risk, incomplete specs, tool issues) at the outset of a project. Provides guidance to teams on how to develop plans that circumvent potential project risks. Leads the analysis and improvement of recurring manufacturing or repair issues, and provides guidance to teams on how to drives tradeoffs to ensure quality and efficiency across the production line.

Leads and reviews the team to develops qualification process and criteria to calibrate product quality (e.g., dimension cosmetic).
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in manufacturing, material, mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in a manufacturing environment /repair- OR Bachelor's Degree in manufacturing / material / mechanical / electrical / industrial engineering, or related field AND 10+ years experience in a manufacturing environment /repair
- OR 12+ years of equivalent experience.
Preferred Requirements:

Doctorate in Manufacturing, Material, Mechanical, Electrical, and Industrial Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment /repair- OR Master's Degree in Manufacturing, Material, Mechanical, Electrical, and Industrial Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
