As Security Solution Sales Specialist, you will focus on Security solutions to create awareness with our customers on turning possibility into reality with the world's most comprehensive approach to security. You will drive the day-to-day execution of Microsoft's strategic business priorities – turning leads into opportunities and selling best-in-class cloud platforms – building digital transformation momentum for our customers, partners, and Microsoft.

- Meet operational standards and rigor to maintain reporting accuracy for key centre metrics.
- Collaborate and leverage internal and external stakeholders to develop customer and partner relationships that build, expand, and effectively progress opportunities and pipeline through the sales cycle within assigned territory.
- Facilitate and lead internal communication with the account team and senior-level leadership to get support and eliminate barriers to success.
- Develop a strong understanding of customers, their security challenges, and strategic business objectives to identify the customers core security needs and connect them with our Security solutions.
Qualifications:
There will be many opportunities for you to learn and grow into this role and Microsoft. However, to be able to best deliver on the purpose of this role, these are the core skills and experiences you should have on day one.
- Experience selling Security solutions and/or cloud services to large/global enterprise customers Knowledge of enterprise software solutions, security solutions and cloud platform competitor landscape.
- Experience in building and maintaining Executive level (CXO) stakeholder relationships and leading value proposition conversations aligned to customer priorities and outcomes.
- Build relationships, collaborate, and influence across organizations, functions, and stakeholder groups.
Operational and sales excellence discipline, including planning, opportunity qualification and creation, stakeholder communication, services/partner engagement and sales excellence practices.
Fundamental understanding of security threats, solutions, security tools, and network technologies Depth of knowledge of the Enterprise Security space, with ability to discuss industry trends and security topics outside of Microsoft technologies.
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years sales and negotiation experienceOR Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Marketing (or equivalent) or related field AND 5+ years sales and negotiation experience or related work or internship experience OR Master's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Marketing (or equivalent) is required AND 4+ years sales and negotiation experience or related work or internship experience.
