Global Response Operations (GRO) is seeking a Workforce Planning & Management Program Manager to drive key initiatives within our central Workforce Planning & Management team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with teams across GRO to implement effective workforce management strategies, ensuring that all incoming demand is accurately assessed and prioritized. Your work will help guarantee that the right tasks are enabled for the appropriate teams, supporting end-to-end operational excellence.
The purpose of this role is to mature Global Response Operations' management of our most valuable resources - our people - in an increasingly efficient and agile way that smartly adapts to the fast-changing and fluid risk environment we work within. You will work closely with our data and technical teams as well as business stakeholders to plan requirements, manage key milestones and deliverables, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. This is a unique opportunity to work across a wide variety of internal teams across Global Operations and Meta as a whole to enable the success of our internal SME workforces in ensuring that the right talent across Global Response Ops workforces is in the right place at the right time, enabling the achievement of GRO strategic objectives and delivering high quality operations.
Workforce Planning and Management Program Manager Responsibilities:
- Data driven approach to lead the implementation of programs for headcount demand forecasting, prioritization and supply allocation for GRO teams
- Drive development and maintenance of Supply Demand Management related reporting dashboards, ensuring accuracy and availability of data for the support of key demand related decisions
- Work with internal XFNs (GRO, GO, Analytics, Finance and HR) to support headcount forecasting and supply allocation initiatives, the primary focus is on balancing the supply & demand of headcount
- Use data to collaborate with GRO Process and Programs, Analytics, HR Business Partners, and org leaders to drive organizational design (skills needs, location strategy)
- Review workforce supply and demand reports to identify potential risk areas and define remediation strategies to address risks
- Communicate updates to key, cross-functional stakeholder groups and support the development and execution of roadshows to educate the business on processes and systems
- Drive key projects geared towards continuous process improvement, stakeholder education and accountability and team branding / communications
- Learn nuances of each GRO sub-org strategy, processes and resourcing needs to enable flexible workforce planning support
- Identify opportunities to solve problems, enable continuous improvement processes, build mature working relationships with cross-functional teams
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience of operations, capacity planning, demand management or consulting
- Experience executing and delivering complex operational programs/projects and continual process improvement involving multiple cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience with analytical tools like Excel, Daiquery, Unidash, SQL, etc
- Solid communication skills and experience creating detailed documentation to provide clarity of scope and progress of initiatives to different stakeholders and audiences
- Demonstrated experience of performance in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Candidates should demonstrate advanced proficiency in data analysis, visualization, and reporting, leveraging tools such as SQL, Tableau, Unidash and Daiquery to drive workforce planning insights and strategic decision-making
- Experience with large-scale data sets, forecasting models, and automation of reporting processes is highly valued
- Experience setting complex programs goals and providing regular feedback to peers, working directly with data, product, and engineering teams to facilitate roadmap planning and execute iterative feature development
- Working knowledge of Meta's internal reporting infrastructure, including HIVE tables, is preferred for effective data extraction, integration, and custom reporting solutions
