Meta is seeking a Product Design Manager to lead a team of designers in creating exceptional experiences that meet the needs of our users. As a key member of our leadership team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the strategy, operations, and communications that guide the team in building high-quality products.In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing teams to ensure our products and features are valuable, easy to use, and of the highest level of craft and execution. You will work closely with your counterparts in product, engineering, data science, UX research, content design, and other disciplines to build great products that address real user needs.To succeed in this role, you will need to utilize your full range of people management skills, product strategy, product design, interaction design, and visual design skills. You should have experience in product design leadership, communication, and people management, as well as a passion for creating innovative solutions that meet the needs of our users.

Product Design Manager Responsibilities:

• Build and manage a talented team of product designers and leaders that consistently delivers on projects and is well-balanced across a range of design skill sets
• Responsible for overall team performance and health, resource allocation, project prioritization, and building an environment of high quality design
• Lead the user experience of our products in partnership with product managers, engineers, UX researchers and content designers
• Be a key contributor to the organization's strategic direction
• Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into useful and valuable products for our users

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience in Product Design
• Design leadership experience with direct reports under your guidance and leadership
• Experience working collaboratively with product, engineering, content, data science and user research teams
• Experience leading product direction and strategic thinking with the experience developing product goals, identify opportunities, and make decisions based on the impact to people and the company
• Experience representing work to a broader product team and other leaders, clearly and succinctly articulating goals and strategy
• Experience building and shipping applications or software across a variety of platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in working in a multi geographic team set up
• Experience in enterprise-level products
• Experience managing support for multiple product teams at one time
• Experience with delivering 0-1 products from concept stages to launch
• Experience working on large scale, complex, ambiguous projects across multiple teams
