We are seeking a Global Head of Innovation Endorsements to join the Music & Content Business Development (MCBD) team at Meta.
Reporting to the Vice President of MCBD, this leader will develop and oversee the deal-making and business strategy for our endorsement deals with celebrities and influencers. In service of this goal, they will drive outcomes and collaborate with a range of stakeholders in product, partnerships, marketing, legal, finance, engineering, and other areas, with an eye to uniting the relevant teams under an endorsement approach by product/initiative. They will be an accelerant to complex, high intensity projects, bringing together the right talent and frameworks into partnerships advancing key priorities.
The ideal candidate will bring deep experience and contacts in endorsement & sponsorship deals with top tier talent and high end brands. She/he will bring a proven track record in negotiations & deal-making, solving complex problems, providing visionary leadership in value creation, and working persuasively among leaders and matrixed organizations. They will have experience leading business strategy, and a highly-attuned product sense. This role offers an impactful remit across Meta's family of apps and services, requiring a candidate who can transcend traditional reporting lines and collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders who share this portfolio of partners. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to shift seamlessly between managing day-to-day projects and providing strategic counsel at the executive level, working across multiple functions to drive results and foster alignment throughout the organization.
Global Head of Innovation Endorsements Responsibilities:
- Negotiate long-term and/or surgical endorsement partnerships with top talent and/or creators/influencers on behalf of one/more of Instagram, Facebook, Reality Labs, Meta Superintelligence Labs, Whats App and Messenger.
- Develop a framework for integrating talent/endorsement priorities from product, marketing & partnerships teams across Meta's apps and platforms, generating alignment on investments and trade-offs
- Organize Meta's cross-functional forums for navigating key decisions related to talent/endorsement investments
- Analyze markets, targets, trends and synthesize recommendations into actionable plans & strategy
Minimum Qualifications:
- 15+ years experience in talent endorsement deal negotiations
- Subject matter expertise in endorsement/sponsorship/commercial-tie-in deals with content, social media, events, product integrations and traditional marketing campaign components
- Knowledge of social media, digital business models and internet/consumer technology
- Experience managing multiple tasks under timelines, and experience executing across a quickly evolving products
- Demonstrated fluency in the most complex business and legal issues and partner relations
- Skill in communication & consensus-building
- Experience building & presenting pitch & briefing materials
- BS or BA
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working for big brands, major agency(ies) and/or big tech
- Entrepreneurial, persistent, and resourceful, with the experience learning quickly about new technologies
- Experience successfully navigating a fast-paced, highly ambiguous environment
- MBA or JD

$296,000/year to $356,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
