We are looking for a highly skilled and driven Semiconductor Display Product Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test and qualification strategies for semiconductor-based display technologies, while leading efforts to improve device integration process. You will work cross-functionally with design, systems, packaging, and other XFN teams to ensure robust, scalable, and high-performance display products.

Semiconductor Display Product Test Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain test programs and test infrastructure for display ICs and modules (e.g., TCONs, DDICs, µLED driver ICs)
  • Design and debug test hardware and software for lab and high-volume production environments
  • Conduct detailed electrical and optical validation of display components at wafer, panel, and system levels
  • Analyze production and characterization data to identify trends, improve yield, and enhance performance
  • Lead the integration of display ICs into modules, subassemblies, or end products, ensuring electrical, optical, and thermal compatibility
  • Collaborate with system design, packaging, and process teams to resolve integration, reliability, and performance challenges in early-stage prototypes and production systems
  • Drive the validation of KPIs of integrated display solutions under nominal and corner-case operating conditions
  • Define and execute reliability and qualification test plans for new display technologies in accordance with relevant industry standards and technology requirements
  • Define criteria and manage execution of stress tests such as temperature cycling, high temperature operating life (HTOL), bias temperature stress (BTS), humidity testing, and others
  • Drive failure analysis and root cause investigations of qualification or field returns, and provide clear reports and corrective actions
  • Ensure all reliability and qualification milestones are met to support product release schedules

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a closely related field
  • 8+ years of experience in semiconductor test engineering, product engineering, REL / QUAL, process engineering, or advanced integration and packaging (e.g. Co WoS)
  • Experience with analog and digital circuit test development and optical/electrical measurement techniques
  • Familiarity with reliability and qualification standards relevant to displays and semiconductor components (JEITA, JEDEC, etc.)
  • Proven track record in leading cross-functional test engineering, device integration, or REL/QUAL projects
  • Proficiency in programming languages and algorithms such as Python

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with lab and ATE tools used in display testing (e.g., SMUs, Oscilloscopes, spectroradiometers, image capture systems, Advantest 93k, Teradyne UltraFLEX)
  • Familiarity with display panel assembly processes and optical inspection techniques
  • Familiarity and experience with III-V material physics, especially LEDs and microLEDs
  • Expertise in advanced semiconductor packaging technologies such as COWOS, wafer reconstitution, InFO, or Hybrid Bonding
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as JMP or R
  • Experience in yield analysis, process optimization, or failure analysis for display products
