WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the IPT maintenance and utility operation activities, but also other areas of the site if required.

Operates the facility, utility, and HVAC system in the manufacturing and facility areas.

Supports the equipment calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities of corrective and preventive maintenance.

Ensures compliance in terms of the cGMP, GDP, Data Integrity, and safety & environment while performing the maintenance and operation activities.

Provides technical expertise for maintenance-related initiatives and improvements.
Manufacturing Excellence
Operation and Maintenance:
-
To support day-to-day shift activities, including planned and unplanned/ emergency troubleshooting, and effectively hand over the shift with proper communication. Escalation of the issues to supervisor, engineer, or maintenance manager.

To provide technical support/assistance including fault diagnosis in close coordination with the maintenance team, process team, and external vendor(s) to enable the process equipment to maximize their operation. Initiates a follow-up corrective action to ensure continued safe and reliable plant operation.

Follow standard work instructions as per preventive and corrective maintenance job plan, forms and checklist.

Ensure equipment breakdown(s) is resolved in an effective and timely manner.
-
Ensures to carry out all maintenance tasks as per the quality and safety requirements.
-
Ensures maintenance work areas are met the housekeeping,5S standards, fundamental SHE requirements (protects people, and company assets), and supports solutions to improve asset utilization.

Ensures the presence of safety risk assessment and follows its instructions while performing a maintenance task.

Perform/Support the shop floor real-time problem solving (RTPS) and come up with effective CAPA to prevent the reoccurrence of events.
Site Equipment Contract Services:
-
Supports execution of all the Pharm plant equipment reliability and maintenance (R&M) service contracts, including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, utilities, HVAC, and Facility maintenance

Executes maintenance activities with vendors, contractors.
Change Control
- Participates in ECC field walk-down, including as-built P&IDs and HAZOP reviews, and completes the required action items associated with them.
SOP, Documentation, and Training
-
Ensure 100% training completion based on the required training program.

Support the development and revision of the maintenance operation Job Aids and Job plans.

Support the continuous improvement, simplification, and optimization of documentation.

Support the conducting job training for new technicians as and when required.
The incident, Event, Deviation, Atypical, and OOT Investigations
- Ensures all equipment OOT findings are documented appropriately and support an investigation.
Continuous Improvements
- Involves Lean Six Sigma Tools (such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, SMED, and 5S) to support execution of continuous improvement and OE projects intended to increase agility, flow, and throughput, while also reducing cycle time and inventory.
Financial Stewardship

Undertakes activities to support the realization of production, cost-effectiveness, and product cost reduction targets set in the Profit Plan, with particular emphasis on spare parts and consumables inventory and cost and reducing waste.

Support maintenance cost optimization programs, including spare parts inventory levels, and equipment breakdown
Quality / SHE Stewardship
Quality

Ensures all planned and unplanned maintenance activities are completed according to established procedures and all associated documentation is completed to a high standard and compliance with GMP and GDP standards.

Implements assigned corrective actions as documented following regulatory inspections and internal audits

Participates in internal and external audits for any maintenance activities.

Supports all assigned deviation, event, atypical, and customer complaint investigations and ensures any assigned actions are effectively implemented within the agreed time frame in a way that continually improves processes, prevents waste, and eliminates rework
Safety, Health & Environment

Ensures that all daily activities are carried out by SHE requirements

Demonstrates and promotes SHE leadership behaviors and engages employees and contractors at all levels on SHE issues

Ensures that vendor and contractor are carried out the maintenance work with SHE requirement standard.
Self

Demonstrates leadership behavior in alignment with company leadership standards.

Develops and updates annual personal action plan and Employee Development Plan (EDP) with their Manager and aligned with the Performance Management Process as required.

Ensures operational knowledge and technical skills are maintained, improved, and compliant with the assigned tr and job requirements
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:
Qualification:
-
An ITE or diploma or Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.Sc Eng.) or Bachelor of Science (e.g. Chemistry, Physics) with related working experience.

Professional certification will be an added advantage.
Experience:
-
3 to 5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing industry is preferred
-
Willing to work shift if required
