A Day in the Life
An exciting new opportunity for an experienced Territory Manager to be an integral member of our highly successful Cardiac Rhythm Management team in Sydney. This is an excellent role for an individual with strong clinical experience in cardiac pacing devices. Your clinical guidance and technical expertise will prove to be valuable for driving business growth and delivering best possible outcomes to our customers.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Promote, sell & educate on Medtronic’s Cardiac Rhythm management products & services across the assigned territory hospital network.

Work with the team to achieve sales revenue targets by developing or strengthening relationships with clinical stakeholders and through effective sales & service strategies. Act as Medtronic’s primary liaison and be the preferred partner for patient care.

Actively participating in the sales and marketing programs to drive product sales.

Develop and execute territory business plans, competitive strategies and conversion tactics.

Grow market share and identify new business opportunities in public and private hospitals and set up referral pathways.

Conduct product training and education for clinicans, hospital staff and pacing departments.

Submit CRM entries and competitive intelligence updates.

Forecast sales, manage inventory and consignment stock and ensure accurate documentation.

Understand the clinical and service needs of customers and provide highest level of clinical service and technical support to customers while seeking out efficiency.

Ensure the highest level of clinical, technical and sales knowledge is attained and maintained. Achieve sales and territory management learning goals and ensure all education programs are completed to a high standard.

Provide timely solutions to clinical, operational and procurement issues.

Conduct product training and education for clinicians, hospital staff and cardiac departments. Collaborate with other Clinical Territory Managers (CTM), Clinical Specialists (CS), Marketing and Business Development Managers (BDM) to assist in the execution on business plans.

Comply with regulatory, TGA and company polcieis, including ethial interactions and HCP engagement guidelines.

Build an awareness and begin accessing key influencers, key hospital stakeholders and leverage relationships to execute on account strategies

Support clinical study activities in conjunction with the Clinical Research Manager

Monitor field inventory effectively to ensure appropriate levels of inventory in each location relative to demand
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Significant experience in clinical cardiac sales, account planning, territory management and forecasting

Demonstrated experience with cardiac pacing devices
-
Required to travel up to 25%, valid driver’s licence required

Strategic account management and negotiation skills.

Ability to identify growth opportunities and convert competitive accounts.

Strong presentation and communication skills with clinical decision makers.

High learning agility and ability to work under pressure in surgical settings.
-
Strong teamwork orientation with ability to influence without authority.

Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
