For this remote position, you will be expected to be based in Madrid and to travel across your designated area.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Promote and sell Medtronic's products and services within your assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets
- Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals
- Uncover customer needs, develop and implement plans to leverage opportunities. This will be uncovered, progressed, and managed through a deep understanding of implanter priorities, research interests and capacity opportunities, and in line with the Medtronic strategic direction
- Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services
- Promote and establish education of the company's products and/or services
- Conduct market research including customers and competitors’ activities, and implement market development plans/strategies and changes as needed
- Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with Pharmaceutical, Medical or Science background
- At least 4 years selling experience in the medical device industry
- Highly valuable experience with Spine surgeons, radiologist, oncologist, pain specialist and general surgeons
- Knowledge of the Medical Industry competitive marketplace
- Proficient in English and fluent in Spanish
- Knowledge of the decision-making process with customers (economic buyer, reimbursement)
- Self-motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision
- Full clean driver license.
- A previous experience in sales in the medical device industry (neuroradiology, vascular radiology, interventional cardiology) will be a must.
