A Day in the Life
Working with the Costing CoE in Parkmore overseeing costing and month end activities across multiple sites.
The Senior Finance Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Global Costing COE by providing detailed financial analysis, reporting, and strategic insights to drive cost efficiency and optimization across global operations. This role will involve collaboration with various departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information is available for decision-making.

Complete monthly and weekly financial reporting of results and other key performance metrics, analysing results, identifying issues, and explaining trends and variances to plan and forecast, providing insights to business partners and other stakeholders to drive action and business results

Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and reporting to support cost accounting initiatives

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse cost data.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance cost accounting accuracy and efficiency

Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial analysis.

Support budgeting and forecasting processes related to cost accounting

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and policies

Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management
Qualifications:
-
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar)
-
level 8 Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
-
4 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on cost accounting.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SAP).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience in a global manufacturing company.

Familiarity with ERP systems and business intelligence tools

Knowledge of international accounting standards and practices
