A Day in the Life

Work on a growing, dynamic team to guide the design and implementation of new Service Now features, custom enhancements to Service Now applications, new custom applications, and migration of legacy solutions to the latest technologies. Our current programs include a broad rollout of Now Assist and Predictive Intelligence capabilities, expansion of Configurable Workspace capabilities, and numerous modernization and automation initiatives. The role will be a remote role in Colombia.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Develop and maintain the overall Service Now platform architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
• Lead the design of scalable and sustainable solutions, considering performance, security, and integration requirements.
• Provide technical leadership to a team of Service Now developers and administrators.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand requirements and assist in translating them into effective Service Now solutions.
• Work with enterprise and business unit architects to align on strategic direction and tactical decisions while representing the needs of the Service Now platform
• Oversee the implementation and configuration of Service Now modules.
• Ensure adherence to coding and configuration standards.
• Design and implement integrations between Service Now and other enterprise systems to streamline processes and data flow.
• Participate in establishing and enforcing guardrails, policies, and ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT teams, business units, and external vendors, to gather requirements and ensure successful platform implementation.
• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating effective communication.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, configuration guides, and best practice documentation.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their Service Now skills.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Requires a Baccalaureate degree
• Fluent English level
• Eight years of relevant experience developing and maintaining overall platforms architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals
• Proven experience of two years as a Service Now Platform Architect, with a strong focus on platform design and implementation
• Proven experience leading Service Now implementations, including customization, integration, and development.
• In-depth understanding of Service Now platform architecture, Service Now modules, scripting, integrations, and best practices.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AJAX, along with experience in web application development and Service Now platform functionalities
• Relevant certifications such as Service Now Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist (HR/CSM/ITSM)
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capability to mentor and guide Service Now developers.
• Active Service Now Certified System Administrator certification, Service Now Architect certification, Experience creating and maintaining an Architecture Blueprint for a Service Now ecosystem; Experience configuring OAuth authentication and Single Sign-on solutions is advantageous
