The ACM OU is committed to excellence in innovation and commercialisation to pursue our vision and long-term business growth. The ACM OU Operations organisation is refining its product delivery, innovation, and commercialisation approach to enable product leadership across all segments of our product portfolio. This will require enhancing our innovation processes, refining our design and delivery approaches to deliver an integrated and comprehensive portfolio that enables product development excellence across ACM.
The Program Manager/Core Team Operations Representative (CTOR) is the primary ACM OU Operations interface to the New Product Development (NPD) Core team. This is a highly visible and impactful role in the operations network and for the Acute Care Monitoring business. The CTOR will lead international teams and is responsible for value stream selection, planning, execution, and implementation of new products.

A Day in The Life Of:
- Lead the Extended Operations Team (up to 10 functions) to ensure on-time and on-budget performance through the new product development cycle.
- Plan the scope, budget, and project schedule for your assigned work packages.
- Plan, document, and execute project schedules that integrate multiple Operations Functions to achieve a significant milestone toward product development or implementation.
- Ensure scope, cost, resource and schedule alignment between operations and core team functions.
- Schedule and Lead team meetings as required.
- Follow compliance processes for New Product Development
- Proactively develop risk mitigation and recovery plans with clear action steps defining what must be true to meet the expectations and influence others to follow.
- Conduct in-depth analysis to provide recommendations on process & product improvements.
- Ability to influence and negotiate requirements to meet program outcomes.
- Execute pre-established Operations Strategies.
- Ensure structured problem methods and predictive engineering principles are consistently and rigorously applied, such as Design for Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or similar concepts.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to ask critical questions without being the subject matter expert.
- Coach and develop extended Operations members, to help individuals advance their skills and careers. Provide performance feedback.
Key Skills & Experience
- Level 8 Bachelors degree required with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced degree in an Engineering discipline or Masters in Business Administration
- Experience in managing and launching new Medical Device Products and therapies from inception to launch.
- Medical device product development experience and a strong understanding of FDA, ICH and IEC standards
- Experience across the entire product lifecycle.
Nice to Have
- May have practical knowledge of project management.
- Experience implementing or executing operations projects/programs, new process, tools and program and/or portfolio dashboards.
- Excellent mitigation management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and relationship skills.
- Strong presentation skills, both delivery and development.
- DRM, DFSS or Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
