A Day in the Life

ACM includes the combined legacy Patient Monitoring and Respiratory Interventions organizations. We help clinicians reduce serious respiratory and perioperative complications across the continuum of care, both inside and outside the hospital.
• You will operate in all phases and contribute to all activities of the software development process.
• You will work in a fast paced, multi-tasking, team environment.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• You will read, analyze, understand product requirements.

• You will actively participate in story grooming.

• You will participate in design documentation and reviews.

• You will design and develop the features assigned with highest quality.

• You will Learn and understand software standards for Medical devices.

• You will under general direction and collaboratively with internal and external partners.

• You will mentor the juniors.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• 4 to 7.10 years of industry experience in Software Desktop Development.

• Required: Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Sciences, Biotechnology, Bio-Medical, Electronics or Electrical Engineering.

• Preferred:

• Maters in Engineering or master’s in technology computer sciences, Bio-Technology, Bio-Medical, Electronics or Electrical Engineering.

• Proficiency with one or more of the following programming languages:  C, C#, WPF.

• Proficiency in one or more of the following tools: Visual Studio, Git, Perforce.

• Experience in Windows is mandatory.

• Experience with software unit testing and continuous integration implementations.

• Familiarity with Agile software development methods.

• Good logical and reasoning skills.

• Ability to work on cross-functional project teams comprised of software verification and development engineers, system engineers, human factor engineers and quality engineers.

• Strong written and verbal communication.

Nice to Haves:

• Design/develop experience working with regulated medical devices.

• Experience working within a regulated environment.

• Experience with software version control tools.

• Quality focus, willingness to learn, versatility and adaptability.
