A Day in the Life

Building on Medtronic’s strengths in therapy, process optimization, and capital resources, IHS helps healthcare providers improve outcomes, streamline care pathways, optimize operations, and enhance patient satisfaction.

As Medtronic Integrated Health Solutions Consultant, you will connect with client hospitals, understand and analyze their most pressing business challenges and deliver high value services which improve their quality, productivity, and patient and staff experience. This is a role focused on working in the Benelux (across various hospital clients) with a willingness to travel within Benelux and occasionally within EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). It is possible to work alternately on-site and remotely, depending on the consultancy assignments. This role is offered as an initial 12-months contract to cover maternity leave with possible extension.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Work with your team on projects across our partnerships to deliver quality and improve healthcare

• Drive complex transformational change

• Design and implementing growth strategies

• Develop and streamlining patient-focused care pathways

• Improve operational excellence helps hospitals innovate and optimize, e.g. Same-day discharge, Remote care, Regional collaboration, New care concepts, Growth programs

• Help physicians and hospital management improve outcomes

• Share and communicate determined best practices actively with clients and the team

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• A couple of years of relevant consulting experience (preferred), healthcare consulting or/and some prior industry experience

• Healthcare industry knowledge or experience

• Proven track record in driving end to end transformations: from analysis to implementation

• Relevant Master’s degree (preferred) with excellent academic extracurricular results

• Project management: planning & coordinating, communicating & influencing, building relationships, achieving milestones, resolving issues and managing risks

• Fluent in Dutch and English

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
