A Day in the Life

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will support accounting operations, assist with financial reporting, and ensure accuracy and compliance in day-to-day transactions.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepares internal and external financial reports.

• Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports

• Collaborate with other departments for financial data gathering and analysis

• Help ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards

• Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders

• Participate in audits and assist with audit documentation

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 0 years of experience required

Nice to Have: Preferred:

• 1–2 years of relevant experience

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience in a manufacturing environment

• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred)

• Professional certification (CPA track or similar) or MBA is a plus
