Our Distribution Center is looking for a dynamic and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is an entry-level position. It is a fantastic opportunity to work for a company that has the rare mix of being a fun, yet high-paced and professional work environment. The successful candidate will be well-rounded in industrial mechanical and electrical skills, repair experience and knowledge of a broad range of complex facility systems. This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform complex technical tasks.

Compensation and Shift Details:

• Compensation: This role has a budgeted range of $18.00-$21.61, plus a $1.25 Shift Differential.
• Shift: We currently have the following shift available to add to our team:

Full-time - Night Shift (10: 00 pm – 6:00 am Monday -Thursday / 10:00 pm -6:00 am on Sundays

Key Responsibilities

The role involves comprehensive maintenance duties, including:

• Conveyor system maintenance and repair (including rollers and electronics troubleshooting)
• Maintaining associated systems like printers, strappers
• Power equipment maintenance and operation
• Weather response duties
• 24/7 on-call availability for emergencies
• Preventative maintenance on dock doors, levelers, and locks
• Daily freezer/cooler inspections with reporting requirements
• Light electrical and plumbing work
• Battery area maintenance
• Supporting testing procedures
• Coordinating with external vendors

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 0-1 years of experience with electrical and/or mechanical repair, assembly, and troubleshooting
• 1+ years of experience with hand and power tools
• Physical capabilities: standing, walking, pushing/pulling/lifting to 50lbs unassisted, squatting, bending, and twisting throughoutthe entire shift
• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently without direct supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience performing preventative maintenance (PMs), troubleshooting, and repairs on conveyors

• Experience with various electronic and electro-mechanical systems

• Previous work experience in a distribution center environment
