Mission At Biologics by Mc Kesson, our mission is to simplify access to medication and deliver personalized care that helps patients achieve the best-possible outcomes — one patient, one partner, one therapy at time.

Purpose Responsible for performing activities and functions in accordance with policies and procedures which assist in the accurate dispensing of drugs to the patient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately count and label prescriptions so that patients receive the correct therapy regimen

• Record drug storage conditions / excursions

• Quarterly checks for expiration dates

• Accurate bookkeeping for daily perpetual inventory

• Assist other team members as needed to ensure success

• Proper handling of biohazard materials per OSHA guidelines

• Receipt of multiple drug orders per SOP standards

• Perform monthly drug inventory

• Assist the distribution team in providing all required documentation and accurate information to ensure proper shipments to the patient

• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirement

Typically requires 3+ years of related experience.

Education

High School Diploma required:

Certification

• Current CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) certification preferred

• Registered technician through the NC Board of Pharmacy or achieve registration within 1 month of employment
