Program Overview

About the Role
Mc Kesson Canada is seeking a Summer Intern to join our CRM & Marketing Solutions team within Mc Kesson Technology. This internship is an excellent opportunity for a student who is passionate about technology, problem‑solving, and learning how enterprise platforms support customer care and sales operations in a healthcare environment.
As a Summer Intern, you will gain hands‑on exposure to Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, working alongside experienced Salesforce administrators, developers, and business partners. You’ll contribute to real initiatives while building foundational skills in CRM platforms, agile delivery, and enterprise IT practices.
This role is designed as a learning experience, with mentorship, structured onboarding, and meaningful work throughout the summer.
What You’ll Do
With guidance and support from the team, you will:
- Assist with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud configuration activities (e.g., fields, page layouts, reports, basic automations)
- Support testing and user acceptance activities for Salesforce enhancements and releases
- Help document business processes, system configurations, and user guides
- Participate in incident and request triage, learning how enterprise support models work
- Assist with data quality and reporting tasks, including reviewing dashboards and basic analytics
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including IT, business analysts, and product owners
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as team stand‑ups and sprint reviews
- Learn how Salesforce supports customer care, sales, and operational teams across Mc Kesson Canada

Who You Are
You are a motivated student who is eager to learn and curious about how technology enables business outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Canadian post‑secondary program (college or university) in:Computer Science
- Information Systems / Information Technology
- Engineering
- Business Technology Management
- Or a related field
- Available to work full‑time for the duration of the summer term
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable learning new tools and technologies
- Detail‑oriented with a willingness to ask questions and seek feedback
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Exposure to Salesforce, CRM platforms, or Trailhead modules
- Basic understanding of sales, customer service, or case management concepts
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum from coursework or group projects
- Previous co‑op, internship, or part‑time experience in a technical or analytical role

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with Mc Kesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
