The Opportunity In this exciting opportunity you will be part of a team accountable for the smooth and frequent deployment of a range of our restaurant and digital platforms. You will be planning and ensuring the readiness for deployment of the latest and greatest features and releases to ensure restaurant and platform stability. What you will be doing - Support the planning and sequencing of deployment activities leading up to a successful deployment. - Accountable for deployment readiness; ensuring restaurants &/or our partners complete the checks which need to be performed ahead of any deployment and for ensuring these have been completed. - Responsible for configuration and setup of any platforms and tools ahead of deployment commencing, including working with the Test function on validating these configurations. - Work closely with the asset & configuration team to ensure that restaurants are appropriately configured for any new software deployments and tools are in place. - Attend relevant multi-functional team meetings and contribute as required - Support ensuring deployment quality ahead of deployment commencing with the collaboration of the Quality and Deployment lead and team. - Measures and reports on deployment readiness and raises exceptions to the asset and configuration team or other analysts to reduce future incidents. - Accountable for feeding back on stability of deployments working closely with the product owners, quality team and suppliers on ensuring correct level of quality is achieved ahead of deployment commencing ## Qualifications What you'll bring An individual who understands the importance of building relationships across the business, with excellent curiosity, communication and influencing skills will do well in this role. An attention to detail, an analytical approach and the ability to quickly identify the root cause of issues will be critical to success in the role. An individual fulfilling this role will be passionate about and demonstrate success in: - Hands-on experience in software deployment with a comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle. - Must have managed a support team - delivering training, delegating tasks, managing workload, reporting on progress, scheduling activities - Experience in project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall, with a focus on optimising project workflows. - Proficient in utilising advanced features of software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Jira, and Confluence to facilitate deployment processes. - Demonstrated track record of successfully planning and executing regular software releases across a large-scale environment. - Proficiency in written, verbal, and presentation communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts and project statuses. - Strong organisational skills with a proven ability in dependency management and configuration management. - Comfortable and adept at working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, adapting to changes efficiently. - Proven experience in leveraging external best practices to enhance deployment strategies and solutions. - Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to exploring innovative methods of operation. - Ability to think creatively and devise unconventional solutions to challenges, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in deployment practices.
