Overview:

Global Risk & Compliance team is looking for a Software Engineer II who can develop and automate applications using Cypress, Jest, React JS, and/or REST Assured, Java J2EE stack owning Testing and Development. The ideal candidate is the one who is passionate about designing & developing high quality code, which is highly scalable, operable & highly available. • Software QA Automation Engineer with adequate attention to design and automate applications
• Good experience in Playwright, Cucumber or Karate framework for UI and ReST Assured.
• Good experience in Java 17 and above using Object Oriented SOLID principles and patterns towards creating reusable and scalable microservices leveraging technologies such as Spring Boot Framework, Event Driven Architecture etc.
• Develop in a CICD environment leveraging Pivotal Cloud Foundry
• Leverage the appropriate persistence mechanisms such as RDBMS, No SQL etc based on needs
• Implement Coding Best Practices. Implement Code Quality gates as per the program norms.
• Perform various Proofs-of-concept depending on the business needs
• Coordinate with various groups in Master Card to ensure success of the projects
• Exhibit teamwork aligned completely with the Agile environment

All About You:

• Passionate about technology with QA Automation for UI or Java ReST APIs
• Good knowledge on product development
• Strong expertise in API Testing, BDD, Cucumber, Rest Assured or Karate frameworks with good to have knowledge on Playwright or Selenium.
• Experience in Online / Real Time Systems development
• Experience in CI and CD
• Experience in PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) and Digital Native Architecture is desirable
• Strong Communicator
• Quick grasping and learning abilities
• Strong communication skills – both verbal and written – with strong relationship building, collaborative skills and organizational skills.
• Ability to work as a member of a matrix-based, diverse and geographically distributed project team.
• Demonstrate ethics and values to generate high team trust.
