Title and Summary

Lead Technical Programme Manager:

Overview:

The Platform Services group is responsible for designing, building, and operating the technology that powers Mastercard’s market-facing and core technology platforms. This includes foundational services such as the API Gateway, Event Gateway, and File Transfer Services.
We are seeking a Lead Technical Programme Manager to join our Dublin team, focusing on building and operating our Global File Transfer platform. This platform supports secure, seamless data transfers across Mastercard’s global infrastructure—including Mastercard’s next-generation switch.

Role:

This is an exciting senior programme management role within a globally distributed team, passionate about delivering resilient, scalable solutions to our customers.
### The Role:
Own the planning and delivery of engineering programs focused on critical shared services powering critical products and services
Partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to define goals, success metrics, and architectural implications.
Manage risks, dependencies, and escalations across teams, resolving blockers and ensuring program health.
Drive vendor engagement and integration efforts, including roadmap alignment and performance tracking.
Champion continuous improvement across engineering processes and delivery frameworks.
Provide technical and business context to engineering teams to support informed decision-making.
Represent programs to senior leadership, synthesizing progress, risks, and strategic implications.
Mentor and coach TPMs and engineering leads, fostering a culture of ownership and excellence.

All About You:

You are a strategic thinker and hands-on executor. You thrive in complex environments, connect dots across teams and systems, and bring a strong sense of accountability and impact through data and technology. Proven experience leading large-scale technical programs in software engineering.
Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
Expertise in SQL, data visualization, and data quality management.
Exceptional communication skills across technical and executive audiences.
Experience mentoring program managers and engineering leads.
Ability to manage short-term priorities and long-term initiatives in dynamic environments.
