Title and Summary
The Manager, B2B Program Management role for SME is a strategic execution position focused on scaling Mastercard's Commercial & New Payment Flows value proposition through powerful B2B partnerships. This role is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of partner integrations, ensuring that ERPs, B2B Marketplaces, e-Procurement and BaaS platforms can seamlessly "enable" Mastercard solutions for their SME clients. You will lead the operationalization of B2B partnerships, from the final stages of the deal to market launch. This involves translating partnership agreements into actionable delivery roadmaps, managing technical enablement workstreams, and ensuring that our B2B products (payments cards, virtual cards and digital tools) are successfully adopted by the partner's ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the "ready-to-market" process for B2B partners, ensuring they have the technical resources, product knowledge, and operational support to launch Mastercard SME solutions.
- Own the delivery roadmap for complex B2B integrations, ensuring that both Mastercard and the partner meet critical milestones for domestic and cross-border SME payment programs.
- Act as the central point of contact between external partner teams and internal Mastercard functions to ensure a unified "one Mastercard" delivery.
- Establish and lead governance routines with partners to track implementation progress, resolve blockers, and align on joint success metrics.
- Monitor post-launch performance of B2B programs, using data to identify optimization opportunities that drive SME usage and partner satisfaction.
- Create repeatable playbooks and enablement toolkits to accelerate the onboarding of future B2B partners within the SME segment.
Qualifications
- Solid experience in program management with a strong emphasis on external partner management or client-facing technical delivery within the B2B financial services or Fintech space.
- Comfortable navigating API documentation, platform integrations, and digital product workflows to guide partners through the enablement journey.
- Proven ability to manage complex partner dynamics, negotiate delivery priorities, and maintain accountability across organizations without direct authority.
- A self-starter who can bridge the gap between high-level partnership strategy and the granular details of project execution.
- Strong ability to communicate program health and strategic outcomes to both technical teams and senior executives.
- Project Management Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, SAFe, or PMI-ACP) are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, or Microsoft Project to manage roadmaps and track technical workstreams.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to monitor program health and post-launch performance metrics.
- Bachelor's degree required (Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field - a post-graduate degree or MBA is highly preferred and will be considered a strong plus.
- English fluency is required. Spanish is desirable for LATAM regional collaboration.
- Availability to work in a hybrid model, being in office 3x per week.
