We provide Operation support to Mastercard's most critical applications and services. We strive to provide excellent service as a strategic partner. This position will be a critical part of our team, helping elevate the skills of our organization and carry out strategic roadmap laid out for the future of ONE Operations.

We provide Operation support to Mastercard's most critical applications and services. We strive to provide excellent service as a strategic partner. This position will be a critical part of our team, helping elevate the skills of our organization and carry out strategic roadmap laid out for the future of ONE Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform day-to-day platform maintenance tasks in a secure, isolated environment.
Design and engineer systems and solutions as per the latest standards and needs.
Build new systems (Install OS, configure and setup).
Troubleshoot and resolve issues independently without external assistance or online resources.
Manage and maintain Linux systems, ensuring stability and compliance.
Administer, configure and maintain VMware v Center and virtual machine infrastructure.
Oversee Windows Server environments, including patching and performance optimization.
Implement and manage Commvault backup solutions for data protection and recovery.
Maintain and optimize Nimble Storage Arrays, ensuring high availability and performance.
Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for internal knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform reliability and security
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of Linux administration, on Dell and virtual (VMware) hardware.
Familiarity with scripting for automation (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in isolated environments.
Ability to work independently without reliance on internet resources or external support.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Experience with ITSM processes is a plus.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Mastercard benefits for interns generally include: 56 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time; jury duty leave; and on-site fitness facilities in some locations.

Kansas City, Missouri: $96,000 - $163,000 USD
