Director, Digital Products – Wallets, ABU, Tokenization and Click to Pay
Role Overview:
Mastercard is seeking an experienced, strategic, and execution driven Director of Digital Products to lead in the South LAC region: Wallets (Digital Wallet Enablement & Acceptance) and ABU (Automatic Billing Updater), Tokenization and C2P (Click to Pay).
This leader will collaborate closely with regional and local teams, issuers, acquirers, fintech partners, and internal cross functional stakeholders to accelerate product adoption, deliver market impact, and strengthen Mastercard’s digital leadership.
This role requires deep expertise in digital payments, the ability to balance strategic direction with hands on execution, and a strong customer centric mindset.
This position will work directly with the CSC (Costumer Solution Center) and closely to segment leads leading the commercial go to market in South American countries helping shape and optimize the products.
Key Responsibilities:

Product Leadership & Strategy
-
Define, manage, and execute the regional digital strategy to the South LAC Region, aligning with global product roadmaps and LAC market priorities. Area of responsibility: Chile, Paraguay, Argentina and Uruguay.

Identify opportunities for product expansion, market differentiation, and value creation across issuers, acceptance, and digital partners.

Establish clear KPIs to track market penetration, usage, operational efficiency, and client impact.

Map and secure rollout of key processes to enable business in countries under scope.

Market Execution & Stakeholder Engagement

Lead end to end product implementations with issuers and fintech partners.

Partner with Mastercard market teams to educate, influence, and accelerate adoption of Wallets, ABU, C2P and Tokenization.

Serve as the South LAC subject matter expert, representing product capabilities in client meetings, executive briefings, and industry forums.

Cross Functional Collaboration
-
Work closely with regional and global product owners, engineering teams, franchise, legal, deliver and operations to ensure readiness, compliance, and pipeline execution.

Engage with sales, marketing, and customer delivery teams to develop positioning, client engagement plans, and operational toolkits.

Operational Excellence
-
Oversee regional dashboards, performance tracking, and reporting for Wallets and ABU in the south LAC Region.

Lead issue resolution and support escalations, ensuring timely and high quality responses to market needs.

Champion process improvements and automation to scale operations efficiently.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
-
7+ years of experience in digital payments, product management, or financial services.

Strong knowledge of card networks, tokenization, provisioning, wallets, and/or lifecycle management.

Commercial and consultative skills in delivering product oriented solutions.

Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to non technical stakeholders.

Strategic thinker with the ability to execute operational details flawlessly.
-
High adaptability, autonomy, and ownership in fast changing environments.

Experience with Tokenization, Wallet Enablement, ABU, or similar digital enablement products.

Regional experience in LAC markets (South LAC is a plus).

Background working in global, matrixed organizations.

Fluent in English.

Availability to be in the office 3x per week.
