Title and Summary
Senior Analyst, Sourcing & Supplier Management
Overview:
Mastercard’s Global Supply Chain Sourcing Center of Excellence team is the operational arm of all Mastercard’s purchasing operations. Acting as centers of knowledge, gatekeepers of risk, and enforcers of all related policies to third party engagement, the team operates as a shared service assisting all arms of the Mastercard business lines in negotiating and contracting with third party suppliers.
The role, based in O’Fallon, MO, is part of our Sourcing M&A team, focused in supporting the strategic integration of our Recorded Future acquisition's supply chain operations, from acquisition to and through 'business as usual' operations. We are looking for an experienced sourcing professional capable of navigating an agile and complex indirect procurement environment, aligning legacy Recorded Future operations to Mastercard policy, process, and systems.
Role:
- Supports the Recorded Future business, and other acquisitions as needed, with sourcing and supply base needs in line regional and category management strategy, standard M&A integration strategy, and company objectives.
- Serves as a resource for business units on sourcing operations and supplier relations to reduce costs and risks while improving value and supplier performance.
- Supports the strategic sourcing process with members of the Global Supply Chain by analyzing spend, defining requirements, authoring/managing RFx's, and authoring/negotiating contracts, with a focus on delivering against both business growth objectives and risk mitigation measures.
- Addresses tactical supply base gaps and handles in an efficient and agile manner.
- Executes standard process reporting and analysis as requested.
- Coordinates components of larger projects and process improvement efforts as needed.
- Navigates the organization to find internal resources and tools as needed.
All about you:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Exhibits excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cost reduction and supplier performance standards and approaches.
- Solid understanding of basic supply chain principles, including spend management, negotiation techniques, and risk mitigation.
- Proactive in building relationships with colleagues from multiple areas within your organization.
- Results-oriented with strong follow-through skills.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated with industry best practices and trends.
- Possesses strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfort in influencing others within and outside of your own department.
- Able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with competing priorities.
- Experience with Coupa and Oracle is preferred.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Prior experience in post-merger integration preferred but not required.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Mastercard benefits for interns generally include: 56 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time; jury duty leave; and on-site fitness facilities in some locations.
