Title and Summary
Director, Specialist Sales, Consumer, South East Asia
- Major Accountabilities
- Leads execution of Specialist Sales strategies for products within assigned region
- Delivers proposals to customers on how products can improve value proposition
- Closes new business in tandem with Account Management and Business Development in a highly competitive consultative selling environment and generates incremental revenue from existing clients
- Builds a strong sales pipeline and monitors opportunities
- Provides technical support by identifying and resolving customer challenges and escalating to senior colleagues as required
- Analyzes and interprets customer data to ensure operations are at optimal levels
- Participates in the customer planning and product prioritization process
- Coordinates transitions between sales and implementation teams
- Brings the voice of the market back to the implementation team to ensure customer relationship needs are met
- Provides subject matter expertise on a specific product or segment of products and identifies product innovation opportunities
- Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
- Experience / Skills Required
- Proven experience in engaging internal and external commercial and technical stakeholders to drive both solution development and adoption
- Intermediate experience in financial services and/or payments with an understanding of competitive offerings, industry trends, and profitability drivers
- Intermediate knowledge on analytics applications, such as Excel or Power BI
- Keen understanding of competitive offerings, industry trends, and go-to-market considerations; ability to translate that understanding into meaningful action and enhancements
- Demonstrated ability to work across divisional and regional boundaries; strong relationship management, influencing, presentation/verbal, and communication skills
- Self-motivated, a self-starter, and a quick learner with ability to work independently and manage different priorities; thrives in a fast-paced environment; readiness to take on stretch goals
- Fluency in English is required
