About the Team
Advisors & Consulting Services within Mastercard is responsible for improving the digital payments experience, acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, and enhancing cybersecurity. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.
Within Master Services, our Advisors & Consulting Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard's rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Our teams work with a diverse global customer base across industries, from banking and payments to retail and restaurants.
The Advisors & Consulting Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Strategy & Transformation consultants lead clients through impactful decision-making as they tackle strategic, tactical, operational, and transformational business challenges. They apply a broad set of problem-solving techniques to improve the client's overall strategy, performance, and operations.

Roles and Responsibilities
Client Impact
- Contribute to the development of strategies and programs for regional and global clients by leveraging data and technology solutions to unlock client value
- Provide analytical and creative inputs on projects across a range of industries and problem statements
- Collaborate with Mastercard team to understand clients' needs, agenda, and risks
- Develop working relationships with client teams and managers, and act as trusted and reliable partner
Team Collaboration & Culture
- Collaborate with project managers and project members to identify key findings, to prepare effective presentations, and to deliver impactful recommendations to clients
- Independently structure your workstreams, perform required analyses and synthesize own findings
- Take ownership and lead internal and client meetings
- Contribute to the firm's intellectual capital as well as internal and external initiatives
- Receive mentorship from senior consulting leaders for professional growth and development
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Degree from a renowned university or business school with a track record underlining your commitment to excel
- 2 years of full-time work experience in a fast-paced role in strategy or management consulting, corporate strategy, business intelligence, business line or product management
- Ambitious and result-oriented individual seeking to grow your career in an international setup
- Strong analytical skills to tackle complex business problems
- Ability to perform several tasks with multiple clients in a client-centric and results-driven environment
- Good people skills to manage stakeholders successfully and communicate convincingly
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and German language
- Eligibility to work in Austria
- Ability to travel to client sites, both nationally and internationally, on a semi-regular basis
Preferred Qualifications
- Ambitious mindset with willingness to go the extra mile
- Strong analytical skills, allowing you to address complex problems, derive tangible results, and implement the best solutions
- Experience managing workstreams yourself, taking end-to-end responsibility for results in a competitive environment
- Working experience in a leading strategy consulting firm or renowned bank is considered a plus
