Title and Summary
Director, Sales Excellence
Overview:
The Global Sales Excellence team is responsible for developing and implementing a consistent global sales model and go-to-market approach. In this role, the individual will be responsible to develop and execute Master Card’s global sales experience including establishing and broadening relationships within the NAM and LAC Regional Sales, Product, Training and O&T organizations. The individual will have direct accountability for improving the sales experience by delivering our current solutions and developing new solutions that enable our sales professionals to improve their efficiency and effectiveness.
Role
-
Deliver solutions in collaboration with the NAM/LAC Regional President and Sales Teams (e.g. account planning template, Digital Sales Aid (DSA) content prioritization and implementation, customer segmentation, annual training plan, etc…)

Prioritize the Saleforce.com enhancements/improvements for the regions
-
Develop Regional Sales Excellence priorities and the delivery aligned with each region’s objectives
-
Build relationships with cross functional business leads including Product, Product Marketing, Learning and Development and O&T
-
Deliver solutions (including digital) including content development, device assessment and roll out.

Develop go to market plan and execution for all partner and Master Card developed solutions

All About You
-
Solid Sales experience including leading transformational efforts that improved sales experience
-
Proven sales and business development in a related field, including setting strategic direction
-
Fluent in English & Spanish
-
Solid people management experience
-
Demonstrate multi-disciplinary knowledge, i.e. product development, product marketing, business development, sales and emerging technologies.

Strong influencing and negotiation skills, the ability to think from the perspective of the sales professional
-
Possess excellent internal relationship management skills
-
Knowledge of payments business
-
Entrepreneurial with ability to innovate
