Title and Summary
Director, Account Management
Overview:
The Director, Account Management is responsible for leading high value client relationships, expanding strategic account portfolios, and driving revenue growth across Government clients and key corporate issuing banks. The role requires deep industry expertise, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders at senior levels.
The Role:
Strategic Account Leadership:

Own and lead high profile accounts—including financial institutions and government clients—ensuring growth and strategic alignment. Develop and execute multi year account plans focused on revenue, product adoption, and portfolio optimization.
Serve as senior escalation point for complex issue resolution and relationship management. -
Business Development & Growth:
-
Identify and cultivate new Corporate Solutions payment opportunities through issuer partnerships, corporate engagement, and strategic product positioning. Support RFP strategy—including government and corporate tenders—providing expertise and leadership throughout the bid lifecycle.

Market & Industry Expertise:
- Maintain deep understanding of commercial and government payments and flows, procurement cycles, corporate card ecosystems, and relevant regulatory drivers. Provide thought leadership in strategic customer conversations, enabling clients to modernize payments and optimize program performance.
All About You:
Must-Haves:
- Account Management, Business Development, or Commercial Payments roles, with responsibility of commercial payments, and corporate or government portfolios.
- Proven success managing complex clients and multi million dollar portfolios.
- Excellent understanding of corporate payments, procurement systems, and issuer dynamics.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, particularly with senior executives.
Good-to-Haves:
- Experience leading RFP responses, especially in government or regulated industries.
- Leadership experience with cross-functional initiatives or direct people management.
- Ability to develop strategic business cases and present to senior leadership.
