Position: Senior Analyst, Marketing
Overview:
Mastercard is seeking a Senior Analyst, Marketing to partner closely with Global Sponsorship Operations and Product Marketing teams. This role will focus on analyzing and evaluating the performance of marketing campaigns and sponsorship initiatives, delivering actionable insights to optimize impact, effectiveness, and commercial outcomes.
The individual will support sponsorship governance and operations, drive data-backed decision-making, and enable product marketing teams with market and performance intelligence to improve campaign planning and execution. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring collaboration across global and regional marketing teams, operations, suppliers, vendors, and control functions.
Role & Responsibilities:
Analyze and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns and sponsorship initiatives to drive measurable impact.
Deliver insights and reporting to optimize sponsorship usage, effectiveness, and ROI.
Partner with Product Marketing teams to provide market intelligence and campaign performance insights that enhance planning and execution.
Develop and maintain reporting frameworks, dashboards, and analytical models to monitor key marketing metrics.
Support the creation and enforcement of governance frameworks to monitor sponsorship asset utilization and marketing effectiveness.
Identify trends in sponsorship usage (volume and spend) and translate data into strategic recommendations.
Assist in sponsorship operations by coordinating with suppliers and vendors for onboarding, data collection, and process adherence.
Ensure data integrity within sponsorship and marketing platforms through structured validation and monitoring.
Provide proactive insights to leadership by synthesizing complex datasets into clear, executive-ready narratives.
Design and deliver custom analyses and ad-hoc reports in a user-friendly, insight-driven format.
Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline processes, improve visibility, and enhance operational discipline across marketing initiatives.
All About You:
Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret large datasets and convert insights into strategic recommendations.
Experience in marketing analytics, campaign measurement, or performance evaluation.
Proficiency in data modelling, reporting, and dashboard development.
Experience building insight-driven presentations for senior stakeholders.
Ability to work cross-functionally across regions and functions, translating complex data into clear business narratives.
Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, DOMO, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of governance, process management, and operational rigor.
High attention to detail with a structured, quality-focused mindset.
Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
