Title and Summary

Specialist, Program Management
The Commercial Solutions PMO department is looking for a Specialist, PMO - Global B2B Partnerships to help drive the growth of several strategic B2B Partnership programs at Mastercard. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of end-to-end program management to deliver program/portfolio objectives within the time, cost, quality, scope, resource and risk thresholds.

About You

You have a proven track record of program management, delivering projects and programs in software, tech, payments, banking and/or financial products. You are comfortable with client management and can support internal and external stakeholder needs simultaneously. You enjoy taking initiative to solve new problems and work well on a cross-functional team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

_Clearly articulate scope, timelines, dependencies, owners, actions, risks, and mitigations for B2B Partner programs
_Collaborate with internal Mastercard stakeholders in multiple functions including Product, Engineering, Global Partnerships, Business Development, Marketing, and others to scope projects, develop governance structures and support the creation of relevant solutions for clients
_Lead internal and client meetings with strong communication skills
_Own project communications and reporting ranging from day-to-day status reports to executive stereos
_Act as point of contact for mid-level client stakeholders on program working teams and be able to assess client needs to cascade to internal partners

Qualifications:

_Basic Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree with 2-3 years of work experience in program management, product management, consulting, corporate strategy, or business intelligence
  • Experience with client relationships
  • Strong competency in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of project management tools and ability to create PM assets (project plans, risk registers, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and clients in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant industry expertise
  • Have completed or interested in pursuing recognized professional accreditation, such as Project Management Professional (PMP)

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
