About The Position:
The IMC team in South LAC is looking for an IMC Finance Analyst that will oversee two main functions within the divisional team:
Budgeting – Finance Marketing Planning and campaign / initiatives and marketing planning & business analysis.
Marketing Budgeting and Finance Planning:
Involves the management of A&M budget, and all aspects of it including annual budget management, quarterly closing, monthly accruals, variance analysis, spend management, and key monthly reporting to global and regional business partners.
Marketing Planning and Business Analysis:
Involves the strategic planning of annual marketing and communications plans, analyzing the main objectives and KPIs per campaign / initiative, providing quarterly and monthly business reports, delivering insightful insights and results to IMC and the business.
Additional Responsibilities:
Support all the South LAC division working closely with all clusters to ensure efficient and effective execution against key planning deliverables, including the annual budgeting cycle and quarterly performance reviews (A&M, Contra, MDFs, Marketing Incentives).
Institute and maintain monthly and quarterly campaign / initiatives performance reporting, track and monitor progress, success and trends, and develop key metrics with the goal of generating actionable insights to aid in investment decisions, complement the planning process and support management performance reporting.
Leads marketing campaigns/activations performance measurement and evaluation for each cluster. Reports regularly on campaign performance measurement and evaluation, recommending ways to leverage past success and apply to future programs.
Determines parameters for marketing solution presentations and reports; reviews presentation materials and guides own team in development.
Provides direction and coordinates deliverables with vendors (e.g., agencies, film production, etc.)
Develop financial models and analysis to support business strategies, including incremental investment justification and prioritization, market, and opportunity sizing.
Cascade regional marketing finance policies and enforce local/divisional policies and procedures.
Champion the compliance principles for the marketing-comms function in South LAC.
All About You:
Business judgment with advanced planning skills – future oriented and capable of delivering creative approaches that drive business objectives.
Effective consultative abilities acting as an internal advocate, including excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Spanish), with the ability to negotiate solutions that leave all parties satisfied with the future outcome.
Be comfortable with ambiguity and working in a matrix organization.
Be able to handle confidential information and materials with appropriate discretion.
Have proven experience with data sources and financial tools as Hyperion, Oracle, MSMS, Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint.
Enjoy working in a fast paced and dynamic team and function such as marketing and communications.
Embrace change and look for solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency, solving challenges by leveraging process, tools and technology.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting or other analytic discipline required.
Knowledge in the area of payments will be considered as a plus.
