Senior Specialist, Operations

Overview:

The Senior Specialist, Legal Operations, plays a critical role in driving operational excellence across the Law Department. This role focuses on driving and executing change management efforts, managing internal communications, supporting training initiatives, and ensuring effective tracking and optimization of legal technologies. The ideal candidate will be a proactive collaborator with a strong execution mindset, capable of navigating complexity and delivering scalable solutions that enhance efficiency and user experience.

Role

  • Change Management & Project Execution

o Lead change management activities across Legal Operations initiatives, ensuring stakeholder alignment and adoption.

o Support project management efforts by coordinating timelines, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones.

o Monitor project performance and success metrics to ensure continuous improvement and accountability.

  • Communication & Engagement

o Develop and manage internal communication strategies and channels for Legal Operations, ensuring consistent and transparent messaging across the Law Department.

o Create and distribute communications that support project rollouts, training programs, and technology updates.

  • Training & Enablement

o Collaborate with People & Capabilities and Law Department stakeholders to design and execute onboarding and ongoing training programs.

o Support the development of a comprehensive training curriculum tailored to legal technologies and operational tools.

o Track training participation and effectiveness, and recommend enhancements based on feedback and performance data.

  • Technology Usage & License Management

o Partner with Technology and external vendors to manage legal tech licenses and subscriptions.

o Maintain accurate records of license activation, usage, and renewal schedules.

o Analyze usage data to identify optimization opportunities and ensure cost-effective license management.
