Overview:

Agribusiness is a strategic vertical for Mastercard in Brazil, with significant potential to expand B2B payment flows and bring digital payment capabilities to one of the country's most important economic sectors. This role will be responsible for designing and leading Mastercard's go-to-market strategy for Agribusiness, engaging with key players across the value chain, and ensuring our solutions address the unique needs of the segment.

Lead the development and execution of Mastercard's Agribusiness strategy in Brazil Design competitive products and value propositions tailored to the agribusiness ecosystem, addressing the needs of buyers, suppliers, financial institutions, and ecosystem enablers Define and optimize the value chain economics to ensure value creation for all stakeholders Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including cooperatives, suppliers, buyers, processors/enablers, and financial institutions Identify and remove barriers to acceptance, working with acquirers and other partners to enable card usage to capture relevant flows Develop partnerships and alliances to expand reach and adoption of Mastercard solutions in the segment Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory factors, and technological innovations relevant to agribusiness payments Work closely with internal teams such as Products, Sales, Pricing, Finance, and Customer Delivery to align and execute All About You The ideal candidate for this position should:Have extensive experience (8+ years) in agribusiness, commercial payments, or financial services with direct exposure to agricultural value chains.

Possess a deep understanding of the agribusiness ecosystem, including its commercial, financial, operational, and seasonal dynamics Demonstrated ability to design and implement go-to-market strategies for specialized segments Have strong relationship management skills and the ability to engage internal and stakeholders at all levels of the value chain Be strategic, analytical, and results-driven, capable of translating market insights into actionable initiatives Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously Communicate effectively in Portuguese and English, both verbally and in writing Hold a bachelor's degree, preferably in a STEM field, but not necessarily required; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred Corporate Security Responsibility Every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security.
