Overview:
Mastercard Send is a real-time payment solution that enables fast and secure payment transfers to and from billions of card, bank, and digital accounts around the world, domestic and cross border. Through a single connection to Mastercard Send, businesses, merchants, governments, humanitarian organizations, financial institutions and others can send money to consumers and small businesses domestically and cross border. The service supports multiple use cases, e.g., person-to-person, business to business, disbursements, remittances and merchant payments.
We are looking for experienced technical program management professionals to join our team and help us build towards the future. Our Technical Program Managers (TPM) conceptualize, rationalize, and drive multiple simultaneous projects to deliver engineering work across the portfolio in our scrum execution model. You will contribute to the strategies and design choices to build comprehensive believable and achievable execution plans to deliver high-profile new features and capabilities for our customers.
Role

Own the governance around technical risks, technical issues, and vulnerabilities management
-
Lead risk meetings and communicate program status to leadership
-
Ensure timely execution on risks and issues' action plans to stay within the remediation date
-
Engage with different stakeholders, risks owners and issues owners to propel decision making
-
Work with stakeholders to identify new technical risks and issues for mitigation or acceptance
-
Own PI pre-planning activities and facilitation of PI planning sessions
-
Execution and change to plan reporting utilizing ALM, excel and PowerPoint
-
Manage release dependencies and risks ensuring proper tracking and communication to mitigate impact to release delivery.
-
Drive roadmaps for multiple lines of business, including prioritization, resource needs and dependencies.

Engagement in Send strategic initiative planning and delivery
-
Leadership level reporting and communications
-
Support Send program management activities, including financial and team allocations, program objective and KPI tracking, etc.

Send program ambassador for external teams, including coordination of cross functional work and prioritization of efforts.

Drive backlog grooming
-
ALM Reporting
-
Close collaboration with TPM team, development team and product team members to secure resources, scope efforts, set priorities and align on delivery milestones.

Have product and technical credibility to drive constructive discussions.

About You

Expertise with managing technical risks and issues
-
Expertise in the areas of strategy, planning and project management
-
Demonstrated experience building relationships, partnering with, and influencing dependent teams while commanding the respect of the individuals you work with across the organization.

Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel. ALM is a plus.

Ability to run effective meetings and lead cross team collaboration.

Technical experience in an agile production environment
-
Experience breaking down complex problems, organizing work, creating and owning project plans, and delivering projects on time
-
Curious mindset and willingness to ask questions to identify underlying problems and brainstorm potential solutions

Enjoys diving deep to understand of the platforms capabilities and underlying technologies, and technical dependencies

Can communicate to executives, peers, and stakeholders with impact, eloquence, and authenticity

Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Mastercard benefits for interns generally include: 56 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time; jury duty leave; and on-site fitness facilities in some locations.
