Title and Summary

Vice President, Products and Solutions (New Core Products)

Overview:

  • Acts as a business owner and executive sponsor; manages long-term and short-term strategic initiatives for Mastercard Brazil Core Products
  • This role oversees product evolution, establish go-to-market strategy, optimize products and resources, implement incremental improvements within the product's life cycle, conduct ongoing care and maintenance, and manage P&L

Responsibilities:

  • Core areas: Core Payments Products and Solutions Portfolio for Mastercard Brazil

  • Responsible for overall product financial performance including P&L

  • Leads a suite of products and leverages cross-functional teams to drive product and consumer strategies

  • Acts as an expert, advocate and champion for designated products to internal and external stakeholders

  • Advises and supports sales by recommending and influencing product pricing, and oversees the development of training and other product support materials for Master Card's most critical products

  • Leads broad commercialization initiatives including establishing go-to-market approach and key performance indicators for products, setting objectives in partnership with regions, and driving commercial plans to ensure success

  • Identifies, evaluates and prioritizes business cases for new business and product opportunities, and builds business models to improve Mastercard's footprint and competitiveness

  • Supervises several groups/teams, ensures compliance with goal setting and performance appraisal processes, coaches and develops employees as an organizational resource

  • Leads the development of differentiated products to meet the current and emerging needs of Mastercard customers and the market

  • Experienced in the financial industry, leading product management teams accountable for core financial products
