We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Team Lead to guide and grow a talented team of backend developers building scalable solutions using Node.js and Express. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the team to deliver high-quality software on time, while fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

You will play a key role in recruiting top talent, mentoring developers, and setting engineering standards across code quality, reviews, and delivery practices. Your leadership will ensure the team consistently meets business goals while maintaining technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of backend developers working with Node.js and Express.

Own the recruitment process: sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new team members.

Define and enforce best practices for code quality, code reviews, and software delivery.

Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure maintainable and scalable code.

Mentor and support the professional growth of team members through regular 1:1s, feedback, and coaching.

Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases.

Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and team performance.

Ensure the team delivers features and fixes on time and to a high standard.

Requirements:Proven experience as a Team Lead or Senior Backend Developer in a production environment.

Strong expertise in Node.js, Express, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript practices.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and agile methodologies.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Passion for mentoring and growing engineering talent.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
