Manager, Products and Solutions
Overview:
The Digital Solutions team is accountable for the product management and strategy of digital products including MDES, Click to Pay, Token Connect, Agent Pay as well as the optimization of performance of our digital channels - impacting NFC, Card on File and Guest Checkout approval rates in Brazil, from a Products & Solutions perspective. This is the team driving Mastercard towards the vision of 100% tokenization, eliminating manual pan entry and eliminating passwords and OTPs on E-commerce.
Role Description:
- In this role, the Manager
- Digital Products will be responsible for the go to market strategy, implementation, execution and product management of Digital products in Brazil.
As part of his/her responsibilities the successful candidate is expected to maintain a close alignment and communication with other areas and internal teams such as Account Teams, Digital Partnerships, Franchise, Marketing, Legal, Product Delivery and others. This role will also act as a liaison with his/her regional counterparts to ensure alignment with regional and global strategies, best practices, tools and objectives.
Additional responsibilities and expectation include (not limited to):
- Lead development of the strategy, tactics, and execution plans
- Lead, Develop and manage the go to market and commercialization efforts of the product in the market, to include GTM strategy with issuers, acquirers, merchants PSPs, orchestrators, E-commerce Platforms, etc
- Provide product expertise, education, best practices, and implementation guidance for product features and functionality to internal partners (e.g. Sales, Account team, etc.) and external customers.
- Identify opportunities for product adjustments – required to adapt to specific market needs.
- In partnership with the team, identify investment needs and develop initial and ongoing financial business cases in support of customer executions with success metrics
All About You:
- At least 7 years professional experience in payments or related areas – preferably on Product Management
- Sound business judgment with established strategic/conceptual thinking and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent project management and execution skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge on API based products and ability to translate technical language to non-technical / business stakeholders
- Excel and PowerPoint knowledge is a must
- Excellent presentation skills, both drafting and presenting
- Strong Business Acumen and Knowledge of digital payments solutions and ecosystem
- Develops and leverages key relationships; understands the diverse needs and objectives of various stakeholders
- Demonstrate understanding of Mastercard business and cross functional knowledge of Mastercard revenue drivers
- Demonstrate a winning/positive attitude
- Act as a team player, with an entrepreneurial spirit and flexibility in regards to deliverables
- Ability to model basic business cases, with economics and impacts
- English is mandatory, Spanish is a plus
