Job Summary
Mass General Brigham is seeking Board Certified/Board-Eligible (BC/BE) Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine or Med-Peds physicians for a per diem opportunity covering both our Urgent Care Centers in South Weymouth & Pembroke, MA—just 30 minutes south of Boston. This role offers the chance to apply your urgent care experience and skills in a fast-paced setting, where you will care for a wide range of patients, presenting for acute illness, injury, or in need of a procedure.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside experienced support staff, including 1 registered nurse (RN) and 2 medical assistants (MAs) at each location per shift
- Care for an average of 2/3 patients per provider per hour
- Provide care in a collaborative, team-based environment comprised of MD's, NP's and PA's
- Utilize access to advanced imaging (X-ray, Ultrasounds & CT) and same day laboratory services
- Coordinate with a network of exceptional specialty physicians affiliated with HMA, South Shore Hospital and Mass General Brigham
Schedule
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (10-hour shifts)
- Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board-Eligible (BC/BE) in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med-Peds
Compensation & Benefits
This is a per diem position. Hourly pay ranges from $140.00 to $170.00 per hour/shift, depending on the type and timing of shifts worked. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, education, and internal equity.
