Job Summary
SummaryResponsible for supporting the day-to-day operations, maintenance and emergencies of site facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant environment.
- Must become familiar with hospital logistics and organization chart on chain of command to have knowledge and resources in executing successfully.
-Assists maintenance staff with planning and coordinating repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and facility guidelines.
-Assist with the management of the Brightly CMMS (work order system) working with Shop Leads ensuring work orders are managed accordingly, keeping system current in real time, and uploading appropriate documentation, and prepare monthly reports.
- Monitor patient room closure activity.
- Must build strong and trusting relationships with Facilities and Clinical staff to assist with coordinating work impacting patient care areas.
- Support Shop Leads and Facilities staff with documentation support to ensure safety measure are followed. (Shutdown request, LOTO, Hot Work, Confined Space etc.)
- Responsible to manage the Facilities Virtual Board open items and following up with status and ensure appropriate parties are assigned.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules with Shop Leads.
- Manage Shutdown log with Sr. Facilities Coordinator for Facilities In-house work and construction project support.
- Participates in Facilities, HVAC, Plumbing, and Shutdown Huddles.
- Manages and submits Maintenance Risk Assessment (MRA) for in-house maintenance work and emergency events to ensure interim life safety and infection control measures are implemented, monitored, and documented.
-Attend and report out Daily Dash (safety huddle).
- Act as First responder in collaboration with Sr. Manager, Faciliteis Operations in managing emergency response events, coordinates mobilization, provide updates and timeline to end users.
-Position requires off-hours and weekend support to Facilities staff as needed for all shifts and including emergency response.
-Assists, supports, and participates with shift coverage to ensure all shifts are covered.
-Assists with Implementing and coordinating 'Room A Day" program for all patient units to address preventative maintenance, minor repairs, patch/paint, plumbing and electrical checks.
-Assists with managing "Above Ceiling Work" permit program with In-House Lead Inspector using CMMS.
- Assist in managing "Green" program requests with Sr. Facilities Coordinator to address clutter and debris in unauthorized areas blocking egress and life safety equipment.
- Patriciates in weekly Offsite Huddles and assist with work order requests, support Offsite techs with rounds and other issues.
- Participate in Life Safety meetings to assist Sr. Manager, Facilities Operations with regulatory testing and inspection schedules and documentation.
-Sr. Manager, Facilities Operations will provide training for Joint Commission Survey Readiness, other regularity inspections, and protocols working in a healthcare environment.
- Facilities Manager will work with Sr. Manager, Facilities Operations, the team, and hospital to ensure safety, and compliance.

Experience
Experience in facilities management, engineering or other closely related role 3-5 years required.
