We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Echocardiographer to join our team and help us continue to provide the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Echocardiographer to perform high-quality echocardiograms in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing diagnostic cardiac ultrasounds and will be dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of imaging accuracy. This is a full time position with the opportunity to contribute to our growing cardiology department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and other specialized imaging procedures.
- Ensure the highest quality of diagnostic images, performing exams in accordance with protocols and quality assurance standards.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare providers to interpret results and provide comprehensive reports.
- Provide excellent patient care, including explaining procedures to patients, addressing concerns, and ensuring patient comfort.
- Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring that all imaging and diagnostic reports are properly documented.
- Stay current with technological advancements in echocardiography and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the department.

Qualifications:
- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or CCI upon hire or within 3 months of hire if a student.
- NH Medical Imaging License upon hire & BLS
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Proficiency in operating echocardiography equipment and interpreting imaging results.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with advanced echocardiographic techniques, such as 3D echocardiography, contrast echocardiography, and/or strain imaging.
- ACLS certification.
