  • 1,000 cases a month

Responsibilities

  • Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures
  • Participate in ongoing educational and competency activities
  • Precept staff to the surgical technician job duties, including surgical technicians, nurses and students

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Surgical Technician Certification required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
  • 2 years of Surgical Technician experience preferred
  • Must present and submit Certification of Graduation, as follows:
  • ARC/STSA-Accredited Surgical Technology Program
    • NBSTSA- Certification is conferred by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
  • Staff adheres to all I.C.A.R.E. Standards
  • Basic computer skills
