Job Summary

Leads the design, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of new and existing software applications. Also responsible for managing several concurrent projects or initiatives related to the application and its end users.

We are seeking a UKG/Beeline Application Analyst to join our healthcare organization, playing a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This position focuses on collaborating with business units to identify requirements, design solutions, and optimize Beeline functionality. The application Analyst will ensure that all enhancements, configurations, and integrations align with organizational objectives, improve operational efficiency, and address day-to-day operational needs.

As a UKG/Beeline Application Analyst you will be responsible for analyzing an organization and designing its processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology. Assess the current state, identify business requirements, and define the future state and/or business solution. Research, gather, and synthesize information. Responsible for assisting functional lead to make informed decisions. Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. Provide solutions to problems for their immediate business team.

The ERP Application Analyst will report to the ERP Application Manager.

Essential Functions

  • Leads the discussion of business requirements and coordinates the translation of those business requirements into functional specifications for the software application.
  • Offers recommendations for improvements in data collection, workflow, or other processes when possible.
  • Works closely with the application's vendor or developer to communicate the functional specifications, providing detailed information to enhance understanding.
  • Develops test plans and performs related software quality assurance tasks.
  • Designs the training curriculum for the software's user community.
  • Leads the development of end-user documentation.
  • Provides ongoing support for software applications by identifying and resolving issues, often serving as the point of escalation for more complex issues.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Business Partnership and Strategic Requirements Gathering

  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for new features, configurations, integrations, or technology solutions that drive business value.
  • Own and drive the requirements analysis process, ensuring alignment with both immediate business needs and long-term organizational strategy.
  • Facilitate and lead requirements gathering and design sessions, guiding stakeholders toward optimal solutions and process improvements.
  • Develop and oversee strategies for business process optimization, ensuring scalable and efficient workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape and refine applications, ensuring they support business objectives and future scalability.

Solution Design and Implementation

  • Define and drive structured and approved business requirements and functional specifications, ensuring ERP development, customization, and optimization align with enterprise goals.
  • Lead the design and oversight of updates to existing business processes and reports, ensuring alignment with operational priorities.
  • Provide sign-off on configurations, validating business requirements, testing outcomes, and production readiness.
  • Maintain and govern a strategic roadmap for future enhancements and updates across assigned workstreams, aligning with enterprise priorities.

Service Management

  • Evaluate and prioritize support tickets based on impact and urgency, assigning criticality levels (e.g., critical, high, medium, low).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, providing timely responses to user inquiries.
  • Monitor and maintain system performance, addressing data discrepancies, or process failures.
  • Act as an SME in ERP workflows and configurations.

Testing and Quality Assurance

  • Establish and oversee rigorous test plans and scenarios for new configurations, features, and integrations, ensuring enterprise-wide system integrity.
  • Lead software quality assurance initiatives, implementing best practices to maintain high performance and security standards.
  • Ensure effective end-to-end testing for assigned workstreams, proactively identifying risks and dependencies.
  • Direct and facilitate user acceptance testing, ensuring alignment with business requirements and operational goals.

Training and Knowledge Management

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to shape training and change management strategies, ensuring seamless adoption of Beeline and other enterprise solutions.
  • Drive the development and continuous improvement of comprehensive training materials, job aids, e-learning modules, and user guides tailored for diverse audiences.
  • Own and manage the Opus Job Aid and e Book, ensuring content is continuously updated to reflect changes in processes, systems, and organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the design and deployment of e Learning updates, ensuring engagement, effectiveness, and alignment with business goals.
  • Lead governance and updates for Beeline Terminology and Reporting Crosswalk, ensuring consistency in enterprise communication and reporting.
  • Oversee content updates for New Employee Orientation, ensuring a seamless and informed onboarding experience.

Continuous Improvement and Enterprise Strategy Alignment

  • Analyze, interpret, and leverage data to drive continuous improvement and inform strategic decisions.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, proactively recommending innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Identify and execute opportunities for business process optimization, driving enterprise-wide improvements in efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Beeline application analysis or business analysis, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Advanced functional knowledge of Beeline Financials (FINS), including but not limited to: Core Financials, Assets, Taxes, Revenue Management, Customer Accounts, Supplier Accounts, Accounts Payable, Banking & Settlement, Cash Management, Expenses, and Procurement.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adapt to a changing environment.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, personal growth, and collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
