Your Team, Your Impact

Today’s integrated circuits need state of the art packaging in order to meet the electrical, opto-electronic, thermal and mechanical requirements of high-end applications. The package engineering group is responsible of the IC package interconnect design and electrical/thermo-mechanical verifications, for various circuits going into various customer applications.

What You Can Expect

  • Perform package design for a flip chip package based on existing netlist.
  • Extract Package equivalent models  (S-parameters model, RLCG equivalent model) using 3D EM simulation tools.
  • Interact with PKG Layout Design team to optimize package electrical performance from Signal & Power Integrity perspective.

What We're Looking For

  • Candidate MUST be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science or related technical field(s).
  • Basic electronics knowledge (electrical circuits simulation, basic circuits function knowledge).
  • Good understanding of microwave theory, transmission line theory and EM field propagation
  • Good understanding of frequency and time domain signal analysis
  • Basic layout knowledge (trace routing topologies, basic design rules for PCB and semiconductor).
  • Basic understanding of Signal & Power Integrity concepts.
  • Practical implementation of PCB routing as part of personal or curricular projects is a plus.
  • Knowledge of electromagnetic simulation EDA software is a plus (Ansys HFSS/SIWave, Cadence PowerDC/XtractIM/PowerSI/Clarity, Keysight ADS, CST microwave studio).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good presentation and documentation skills.
  • Good teamwork skills.
  • Good English (spoken and written)
