Your Team, Your Impact

The Failure Analysis team at Marvell owns the entire Failure Analysis (FA) process for both customer returns and internal qualification and production support. This team works closely with internal cross-functional teams and external vendors to perform root cause analysis and drive necessary corrective and preventive actions.

What You Can Expect

• Lead and oversee end‑to‑end failure analysis for customer returns and internal failures.

• Manage cross functional teams for root cause investigations and fault isolation

• Effectively manage external physical FA labs to deliver PFA results to meet Marvell s quality and TAT expectations.

• Interface with customers and generate 8D reports for customer closure

• Ensure internal partners are fully aware of the thoroughness of an FA and the expected Turn Around Time (TAT).

• Oversee FA lab equipment, including maintenance, calibration, and capacity planning.

What We're Looking For

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors or Master's degree in Engineering, Science or related technical field

• 10 years of experience with strong Failure Analysis Background

• Extensive experience working with 3rd party physical FA lab

• 3 years in a leadership or managerial role

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with circuit design, IC fabrication, assembly and product testing

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Extensive Physical Failure knowledge required to drive physical root cause analysis

• Experience in reviewing design and package layout

• Proficiency in 8D Problem Solving process and tools

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong leadership skills, demonstrated ability to lead a team, and effectively work with cross-function teams and external vendors
