We are seeking a talented individual to join our FP&A team at Marsh. This role will be based in Lima, Perú. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Specialist FP&A is responsible for analyzing complex financial and quantitative data to support business partners with strategic recommendations. Additionally, they prepare financial reports and presentations, participate in the month-end close process, develop and monitor budgets and forecasts, and manage financial databases, demonstrating strong communication and storytelling skills to facilitate decision-making.
We'll count on you to:
- Analyzes complex financial data and quantitative analyses, in order to support business partners provide financial recommendations.
- Reviews and conducts analysis of financial planning information and reports, and makes recommendations for changes to management.
- Communicates with business partner on a consistent basis, to ensure alignment and a close relationship
- Assists in the month end close process by preparing recurring/standard and ad hoc reports, researching general ledger activities to understand variances to budget and prior year.
- Evaluates financial plans by identifying financial expected performance and potential returns to investments.
- Prepares financial presentations using a variety of formats, displays, reproduction of charts, graphs, and econometric models – Be effective towards communicating key financials call out points to business leaders with strong storytelling skills
- Assists in the development of budgets and quarterly forecasts; tracks and reports initiatives.
- Prepares financial planning information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Updates financial databases through entering, verifying, and securing data.
What you need
- Experience working in multinational companies
- 3 to 5 years of experience in FP&A
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, industrial engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish. A third language is an asset.
- Strong Financial Core FP&A Skills and Corporate Finance understanding.
- Excel proficiency.
- Desirable knowledge in Power BI or CRM management.
